Many years have fallen since the fall of man kind and the rise of the supernatural. As punishment for the neglect and persecution of their kinds the beings of the supernatural took over. Many races now inhabit the world. Demons rule the majority, while humans lie in the measly slums of the earth. The ruler now is King Kamijo, and lives in the capital castle of Pandemonium. Though the humans have reverted to the ways of the dark ages, the demons live in large and glorious cities. As punnishment for their sins, every family must give up their youngest child to work in the gardens of the castle. Some make it into the higher servant positions, some fall to their untimely demise. As the mating season approaches many young servants hope to become the mate of a demon to escape the hell they live in.
